GOLOSARIA AND STELLE DEL NORDEST: TWO EVENTS, DOUBLE THE PLEASURE FOR LOISON

Two large-scale events are opening the summer season: on June 4-5 in Bassano del Grappa, the first edition of Golosaria by Paolo Massobrio. In Torreglia, Padua, the sixth edition of “A tavola con le Stelle del Nordest” with dinner at Antica Trattoria Ballotta. For artisan confectioners Loison in Costabissara, the month of June has two large-scale events on the calendar. In both, Dario Loison will be there not only as a friend, but also as a confectioner.

LOISON AT CIBUS 2016: NUMBERS AND NEWS

Our Christmas 2016 catalog features our “Tribute to the Arts of the Table”. We created and introduced 8 new Top Collections and over 35 new and different items. Following the success of our Chamomile Panettone, the first to feature a flower ingredient, we launched the latest Rose Panettone.

Loison Pasticceri was once again present at Cibus, the biennial expo, now in its 19th edition, that was held in Parma on May 9-12. Our company has been a vendor there since the early 1990s.

STAND, STAFF AND NETWORKING. During the 4-day event, our trusted staff of 12 welcomed returning visitors inside our elegant Pastry Shop in the style of the 1800s, set up on a 70-square-meter space where we interacted with over 350 businesspeople.

From the dining table to the storyboards of the ninth art: Loison Panettone re-imagined in a comic strip

A large audience attended the award ceremony for the 7th edition of Loison Contest. Participating in “Panettone is served” were 40 Italian artists «whose terrific artworks embodied the spirit of taste», tells Dario Loison.

The event was held on April 1st at Hotel Vergilius in Creazzo (VI), where the Technical Jury (Claudio Villa - Sofia Terzo - Alberto Baldisserotto) selected three winners. Prizes were also awarded by the People’s Jury and the Quality Jury.
The evening was sweetened by delicious Loison confections:
Tart Cherry Panettone Macarons (a 2016 novelty), Panettone Lollipops and Shots for a full-circle “Made in Loison” experience

Passion, creativity and good taste have always been at the forefront of Loison’s business philosophy and, in this contest, the same characteristics traveled from the culinary arena to the storyboards of the ninth art. Contest “Panettone is served”: the winners

On April 1st (no, it isn’t a joke), the artworks of all our contestants will be displayed at Hotel Vergilius in Creazzo (VI) and the contest winners will receive their awards in the sweet atmosphere that only Loison can create.

The jury is chaired by renowned cartoonist Claudio Villa, who will be joined by author Sofia Terzo and art director Alberto Baldisserotto at Dalì Arts School.

In addition to the above judges, there will also be a People’s Jury (Loison staff) and a Quality Jury (Andrea Lazzari and Roberto Luciani with Italian newspaper ‘Il Giornale di Vicenza’, Alessandra Ortolan with Italian newspaper ‘Corriere Veneto’ and Alberto Belloni, journalist and noir writer)

For many years now, Loison has been promoting the Panettone culture through traditional and untraditional channels alike. One of the strategies used is the annual Contest. In the past editions, recipes, photography, ice-cream and cake design were given a lot of attention. However; for the 7th Loison Contest, the Panettone took on a new form yet, that of Comics!
