WHEN SOUTH AMERICA CALLS, LOISON ANSWERS: 4 DIFFERENT GROUPS OF STUDENTS & MANAGERS IN 2 YEARS!
The last study tour was held on January 18: about thirty participants in the International Management & Leadership course organized by the CUOA Foundation in Altavilla Vicentina, in partnership with IBS Saõ Paulo, came to visit us.
All the guests were won over by the “suave sabor” of the Panettone, Colomba and Macaron samples and by Dario Loison’s visionary and entrepreneurial spirit.
A new year may have just begun, but good old practices are still in place at Loison. 2017 had an auspicious start, including within the educational department, thanks to the customary visit of the participants in the International Management & Leadership course organized by the CUOA Foundation, in partnership with IBS (International Business School) Saõ Paulo (Brazil). This was the fourth visit sponsored by the Foundation (two in 2016 and one in 2015) and the course was held from January 16 to February 2, 2017.
About thirty students in their 20s, originating mostly from South America (Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru) traveled to Italy to attend the lessons held at the CUOA Foundation. The course was addressed to young managers who wished to increase their leadership and managerial skills in multicultural and international contexts.
On January 18, the young managers visiting Loison had the opportunity not only to learn about the excellence of the "Made in Italy" products that are exported to over 55 countries around the world, but also to get to know Dario Loison in person. With his entrepreneurial spirit, he has successfully run his highly efficient artisan production site and has led a disintermediated commercial organization. This year’s revenues exceeded 9 million euros, of which more than 50% came from export sales.
After the visit, there was time for Q&As and then on to the tasting room, where guests enjoyed the sabor of the Panettone with Late Mandarin from Ciaculli, the spicy notes of the Cherry & Cinnamon Colomba and the yummy Macarons with the fruity flavor of Tart Cherry Panettone. A sweet taste that the students even got to take home with them!
