Salone del Gusto: LoisonÂ’s strength is in the use of Slow Food products, company also wins Slow Pack 2014 award

Dear Gourmand Friends,


the ‘Salone del Gusto’ in Turin, Italy, has just come to an end. This intense and engaging event confirmed that Slow Food products are a key to Loison’s strength. The company has indeed been using them since the 2000s.

At the fair, Dario Loison was also recognized with the 2014 Slow Pack Award in the Chain of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging category “for the ability to express the history of the product with elegance and sophistication across all types of packaging”.

Insolito Panettone, the new portal

September has begun and we are ready to delight you with many innovations and initiatives. Like the new Insolito Panettone portal, which has been renovated both in style and in mission. No longer just a blog, it is now a genuine cuisine-centered magazine, thanks to the contributions of the experienced chefs who have been working with Loison for years, as well as to the recipes of the most loyal bloggers who follow us through the contests we organize.


Lots of space has been devoted to our Museum and Library: Dario Loison has been an avid collector for years and, thanks to his perseverance and passion, he has brought home many examples of Panettone-related objects, as well as pastry-making items. It was his passion that laid the foundation for Loison’s Museum and Library, which feature a rich historical archive of postcards, antiques and books on the history of baking and pastry making.
