Loison Contest is now open: the comic strip is served!
After the untraditional recipes, photographs, ice cream and cake design, it's time for Panettone to take on a new form, that of Comics.
The new Loison Contest kicked off on June 24th. It is called Il Panettone in Tavola (Panettone is served) and was organized in partnership with Vicenza-based Dalì Arts School. The first three people to place in the contest will receive top-rated awards
Panettone in Tavola (Panettone is Served) is the name of the 2015 edition of Loison Contest, a professional contest in which rookie cartoonists are encouraged to participate with one goal in mind: to create art. The purpose of the challenge is to convey through cartoon drawings (including balloons) the cartoonist’s personal vision of Panettone and its taste (e.g. as a symbol of civilization, the logo of a superhero, the key to a portal into a parallel world, etc.). These are the top prizes that will be awarded:
1st placed
A meeting with a publisher to present the winner’s book, featuring the winner’s personal drawing style

A professional set of Winsor & Newton watercolors and a Wacom Intuos Manga Pen & Touch Graphics Tablet.
A special prize will also be awarded by Loison Pasticceri dal 1938 to the work most deserving of a special mention.
Judging the entries will be a panel chaired by Claudio Villa, renowned cartoonist (Dylan Dog, Tex Willer, Captain America, etc.). Author Sofia Terzo and Alberto Baldisserotto, Art Director at Dalì Arts School, will also be judging. Entry deadline is September 13, 2015.
