On September 17-18, a Google team consisting of seven professional videographers got busy shooting tutorials inside Loison headquarters in Costabissara (VI) for the “Growth Engine Platform”. This was the second phase of the “Eccellenze in Digitale” project that included a lesson by Dario Loison produced in January 2014.

The second phase of the project featured six European countries, namely England, Poland, Spain, France, Germany and Italy. To represent our country, Google selected 3 companies: Loison, Berto Salotti and Lux Made In. Two are led by men, while one is led by women

Giant Google keeps growing and investing in educational projects. An example of such projects is “Eccellenze in digitale” (Excellent businesses in the digital world), a portal coordinated by Prof. Stefano Micelli of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Dario Loison was first introduced to the project back in January 2014, when he offered his testimonial in the form of an online lesson. The goal was to bring SMEs (Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises) closer to the digital world and to opportunities for growth in global markets.

Google has now launched the “Growth Engine Platform”, the second step of the “Eccellenze in digitale” project. Six European countries were involved: namely England, Poland, Spain, France, Germany and Italy. Of the eighty companies that could have represented our country, Google selected three, each with a unique story to tell. The companies are: Loison, Berto Salotti and Lux Made In. Two of these three successful firms are led by men, while one by women. All three embraced web-based technologies to promote and grow their business.

On September 17-18, a Google team consisting of seven Italian and English professional videographers got busy with shooting tutorials inside Loison headquarters in Costabissara (VI) and interviewing Dario Loison. It was a 48-hour intense activity that produced video tutorials centering on Loison as a business case study. "The Internet has radically shortened times and distances in business strategies”, says Dario Loison. “Our family-run business embraced the web by way of pro-active and responsive actions. I’d like to add that, by making use of comprehensive web-based tools, we are constantly in touch with our partners, sharing real-time information and procedures with them."

More lessons are coming from Dario Loison, to help businesses grow in the World-Wide Web with taste!
