12 YEARS AT THE MERANO WINE FESTIVAL ARE WELL WORTH THREE “2017 WINEHUNTER AWARDS”
On November 11-13, Dario Loison attended the highly anticipated South Tyrolean event with products in the Food Section of the Gourmet Arena. Three prestigious awards went to the sweet taste of Loison
For the 12th year in a row, Loison entered its sweet creations in the Merano Wine Festival, whose latest edition was held on November 11-13. The Food Section of the Gourmet Arena showcased some of Loison’s gourmet delicacies, including those that successfully passed the test of the tasting committee and received the following 2017 WineHunter Awards bestowed to Italian and foreign gastronomic excellence:

THE SPOTLIGHT IS ON LOISON: FROM GERMANY TO CANADA, IN SEARCH OF ARTISANAL PANETTONE
Loison opens its production plant doors for the crew of N-Tv, German broadcasters from Cologne, and for Pusateri’s, a Canadian gourmet food hall based in Toronto.
On October 28-29, Loison will take part in We-Food, the first Italian event dedicated to artisanal tourism in the gourmet food industry
Over the last few days, the staff at Loison have been experiencing a thrilling pre-holiday climate. In addition to university students and future chefs touring the company, Loison opened its doors to the camera crews and the screenwriters of two foreign networks: one from Germany and one from Canada.

LOISON MUSEUM AND THE SPICE ROUTES: AN EXOTIC JOURNEY INTO TASTE AND CULTURE
Two events dedicated to the world of spices took place on September 26-27 at the Loison taste lab, thanks to the support of the association “Angolo Vicentino dell’Avventura” and the patronage of international library “La Vigna”.
The extensive photographic review centered around the caravan routes that helped disseminate new knowledge and flavors imported from Asia and the Middle East
On September 26-27, 2017, the Loison Museum became the meeting point for culture, history and photographic narrative with a two-evening event entitled “Le vie delle spezie” (The Spice Routes). Organized by Angolo Vicentino dell'Avventura, with the patronage of international library La Vigna, the venue provided the space for an exotic journey into the scented world of spices.

DINING WITH THE STARS OF THE NORTH-EAST: HERE ARE THE HIGHLIGHTS
On June 26, the 7th edition of “A tavola con le Stelle del Nordest” (Dining with the Stars of the Northeast) took place at Grand Hotel Terme in Montegrotto, Padua. The charity event was originally created by journalist Giovanni Chiades.
Loison’s trio of confections literally flew off the shelves: over 500 portions - featuring Loison Rose Panettone, Macarons and Lollipops - were handed out.
Many of the participating chefs are friends of Loison’s. Their Panettone-based dishes will appear on Insolito Panettone
The magnificent Grand Hotel Terme in Montegrotto, Padua, was the ideal venue for a grand dinner featuring dishes prepared by 27 Michelin-starred, or soon to-be starred, chefs from the Italian regions of Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino Alto Adige and Emilia Romagna. To make the evening even more delightful was an array of delicious tastings, including fine wines, spirits and confections.

WITH LOISON, ITÂ’S DOUBLE THE PLEASURE: DINING WITH THE STARS & LOCANDA DI PIEROÂ’S ANNIVERSARY
The warm summer season opens with two large-scale events: on June 25 in Montecchio Precalcino (VI), big celebration in honor of the 25th anniversary of the restaurant owned by Renato Rizzardi. Then, on June 26 in Montegrotto Terme (PD), “A tavola con le Stelle del Nordest”, the 7th edition of the charity dinner featuring Michelin-starred chefs.
At both of these remarkable events, Loison Panettone will be available for tasting in many forms, including lollipops, macarons and two new desserts created by Chef Rizzardi
Two events are opening the summer season: both will feature the one-of-a-kind taste of Loison Panettone.
To begin with, on June 25, restaurant Locanda di Piero in Montecchio Precalcino (VI) will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Invited to celebrate the quarter-of-a-century milestone are friends who partner to create artisanal flavors. Dario Loison and his one-of-a-kind products will be there too. On June 4, 2017, at the Saputo Stadium in Montreal, the Consulate General of Italy held a grand event in honor of Italian citizens, Italian-Canadians and friends. The local community of 300,000 undeniably contributed to the prosperity of the city.

DARIO LOISON SPEAKS OF ARTISAN KNOW-HOW
Coming up is the round table that will be held to present the book “Raccontare il Made in Italy” by Marco Bettiol - 2.000 copies sold and second reprint.
Organized by Unione Collector, a cultural production project run by printing house Tipografia Unione, the event will take place on April 20 at 6:30 pm.
For the last 11 years, Loison Pasticceri has been the subject of books that testify to Dario Loison’s entrepreneurial spirit. The 14 publications listed in the company’s bibliography speak for themselves
Dario Loison was once again invited to participate as a speaker in a round table.
