Loison continues hosting educational tours, this time with the Pastry School of Lonigo

Led by Mariucia Pelosato, students had the opportunity to see with their own eyes how an artisan workshop worked. During the visit, Loison presented to the public its newest Showroom, the Cellar, the Museum and the Library.

A group of curious students, a teaching professional, lots of passion and the desire to move forward. Those were the main ingredients of the recent company visit organized by Dieffe Professional School in Lonigo (VI), a regionally accredited institution that offers a one-year course in pastry making. Dario Loison’s experience and entrepreneurial vision quickly turn an idea into a new reality. As we all know, from nothing comes nothing, while inspirations can trigger unexpected ideas. Every project, in fact, always undergoes its careful decanting, maturation and aging phases. If to those we add the right amount of experience and entrepreneurial vision, ideas soon become a reality. This is how Loison’s New Gadgets came to be. Prestigious Parisian award goes to LoisonÂ’s Panettone

Our 2014 Christmas Collection debuted at Villa Canal

For the first time in the Veneto region, Loison showed off its new 2014 Christmas Collection at the Slow Oil & Wine event that took place at a beautiful Palladian-style villa on August 31, 2014 in Grumolo delle Abbadesse.

This last Sunday in August, a warm and sunny day, marked the end of the summer with an event entirely dedicated to wines and oils from the Berico Hills, thanks to Slow Food and its “Slow Oil & Wine”. The son of Marcella Hazan was in the Veneto region with the students of his cooking school. They visited Loison and all raved about the truly artisan Panettone we make. After touring Loison, they moved on to a few more of the best food and wine businesses of the Veneto.

Giuliano Hazan, son of Marcella Hazan - “the Godmother of Italian Cooking” - and famed author of best sellers such as How to Cook Italian, spent a few days at the beautiful Villa della Torre in Italy where he set up his Cooking School for a week of total immersion in Italian cooking lessons and food & wine tours of the Veneto region.

Dining with the Stars of the North-east, Panettone Cream and LoisonÂ’s friends

The traditional event that brought together Michelin-starred chefs from the Triveneto area of Italy turned out to be very successful. Among the participants were Paolo Favaretto, with his divine Baccalà, and Peter Brunel, who presented a dish of rice, cabbage and apple stock, trout roe and Loison’s  Panettone dust.

The 7th edition of Trilogia del Gusto (a three-day event dedicated to taste) took place on the evenings of June 25, 26 & 27 at Antica Trattoria Ballotta in Torreglia (PD). The opening event “A Tavola con le Stelle del Nordest” (Dining with the Stars of the Northeast) was a fundraiser that featured famed chefs, as it does every year. An Evening with a Dream: LoisonÂ’s heart and taste

The 7th edition of the charity event “Serata con un Sogno” (An Evening with a Dream) took place at Cantina Fasoli in Colognola ai Colli. Loison’s confections were there: Veneziane, Panettoni with Calabrian Fig and butter cookies, for over 350 guests. Because life is sweet when we give others a little flavor.

On June 7, 2014, the traditional “Serata con un Sogno” (An Evening with a Dream) organized by the Fondazione Più di un Sogno (a non-profit foundation) took place at Cantina Fasoli Gino, a winery in Colognola ai Colli (VR).
